WAVES II #276 with two sets of curves for the prongs, makes this hairpin the most secure when inserted correctly with prongs at least ¼" apart to pick up hair between the prongs. A slight tug is needed to remove it from a tight Bun or French Roll. Recommended for fine and short hair since the double curved prongs grips and holds hair in place. WAVES II #276 come in “Regular” or “Heavy Duty”, Brass, Copper or Sterling Silver Wire.
 
ALL our Hairpins are slightly curved to fit the shape of the head for comfort and safety as the prongs won’t stick out to poke you or someone else. They are handmade in “Regular Wire” for fine to medium thick hair or “Heavy Duty Wire” for very thick and long hair. ALL Hairpins are custom-made in Brass, Copper or Sterling Silver Wire for many hair types, textures and length.
